We are expanding and diversifying our Internet distribution offering. In early December, we acquired the residual inventory assets of the Virginia City Mint Ltd; a company that closed down in early 2000. Virginia City Mint made Challenge Coins, Medallions, Belt Buckles and Pins covering Military Branches, Military Organizations, Government Agencies, Space Shuttle Missions, State Governments, the 1984 Olympics and the Boy Scouts.
On January 16, we acquired the residual inventory assets of Classico San Francisco and Ludlow Sales. These companies closed down in early 2000. The companies were well known for producing post cards, 8x10"/11x14" posters, 8x10" movie prints, Note Cards and other items featuring some of the most recognizable licenses from movie/TV production companies, Rock and Roll, Cartoon...including Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel Super Heros, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, The Beatles, Grateful Dead, Jim Morrison, Betty Boop, Disney, The Boy Scouts, Norman Rockwell and so much more; all under licensing agreements. Also included is a tremendous offering of French Post Cards. This acquisition includes over 1,500,000 pieces.
We cannot predict what other offerings we will be acquiring/offering in the future. We are always on the hunt for small collectibles that meet our Internet marketing strategy. What we can guarantee is that Boy and Girl Scout Memorabilia will always remain the cornerstone of our business.
